Direct Mail Newsletter

This January, Conlin's sent out our first direct mail newsletter. This 8-page booklet was saddle-stitched, folded, closed with a wafer seal, and sent to our in-house customer mailing list. It contained a note from Conlin's, a Featured Employee section, and carefully selected content from our blog and resource library.

As I mentioned in this recent post, direct mail is a great way to let your customers know about your online content. If you've been blogging, you already have what you need to create a solid newsletter. Just add a few features that are exclusive to the printed edition, and include an invitation for the reader to visit your blog.

Even in this digital age, content marketing can be more powerful with print. People tend to spend more time with printed content (due to the lack of digital distractions), and they comprehend what they read more thoroughly. Sending out a newsletter is a great way to get more utility from the content you create. It will give your customer a high-quality experience with your brand that they will remember for longer.
