4 Things Signs & Banners Will Do For Your Business

Don’t make the common mistake of underestimating the value of your company’s signage. Signs are one of the most powerful methods of conveying a message to your customer. Your signs say who you are and what you do. They help make important associations that your customers need to make in order to recognize their need for your service.

If you haven’t already given thought to updating your office, now is the time! Here are four things that signs and banners can accomplish for your company.

1. Educate your market

Chances are, your customers might not know much about the products and services you offer. Signage is an opportunity to provide them with education in a way that’s subtle and not pushy.

Show images that depict your product in use, provide information on the benefits of a specific service, or provide suggestions for how to use an item you’re selling.


2. Change the mood of your office or storefront

Signage can take a “blah” office space and transform it to feel more upbeat, fun, exciting, or even “synergetic”. I think wall wraps and window decals are especially powerful in this capacity. Instead of a white wall, you can share your businesses’ history, let your customers know you’re on social media, or talk about your company values.


3. Build relationship with your clients

Your signage doesn’t necessarily need to “sell” anything. Funny or entertaining signage can build rapport with your customer without having to speak a word. Use clever messaging to tell your brand story and showcase who you are. Make people laugh or inspire them. As a business, showing your “personality” will inspire the same trust and respect as it would on a personal level. If someone has positive feelings about you, they are much likely to make a purchase from you later.


4. Maximize your curb appeal

When people visit or drive by your office or shop, you have an opportunity to present them with your brand message. Signage is the prefect way to accomplish this. It’s more than just a visible logo – it’s about presenting your customers with messaging that shows them who you are.
